Minty raspberry green smoothie


Let's be honest, it looks a bit like swamp water :-). But don't let the look fool you! This is a refreshing summer green smoothie with fruity raspberries and fresh mint. It comes together even quicker than other green smoothies because there is no chopping involved. Peel banana, add other ingredients, blend, done. It could not be easier! Give it a try for breakfast before berries go out of season.

Preparation time: 2 minutes

Makes 1 big serving or 2 small ones:

  • 1 banana (if you peel and freeze the banana in a zip lock bag the night before you will be very happy with the creamier texture of the smoothie!)

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries

  • 1 cup spinach leaves

  • 1/2 cup Romaine lettuce leaves

  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

  1. Blend everything in a blender for 1 minute until creamy and smooth. Serve right away.
