To get your mornings off to a lighter start try this yummy green smoothie. It's a little bitter with the arugula which helps amazingly with supporting your detox pathways. This makes a really big serving or two medium sized ones. You know I love to kick my day off with a green smoothie every day. It's the best way for me to get my balanced plate filled with veggies and fruit, and I usually combine it with a yummy oatmeal from the free Warming Breakfasts ebook. Preparation time: 3 minutes
For 2 servings:
juice of 1 lemon
2 cups mixed leafy greens (I love spinach and arugula)
1 cup pineapple
1 cup water
Blend everything in a blender for 1 minute until super creamy. Drink right away, otherwise it gets bitter.
