I know calmer, slower movements are not high on our priority list for most of us. If we do manage to throw on some leggings and a supportive bra, we want to make sure we get the most of the time we are letting the kids watch TV so we can exercise.
However, as I always mention in my daily health tips on Instagram, being stressed wrecks our hormones, our fat metabolism, and the ability to burn any kind of calories. Sometimes we just need to calm our nervous system down to reset and bring our body back into fat-burning balance.
That is why calm movement is actually so beneficial - even though it may seem like you just get to take a nap on your mat. Isn't that the best kind of workout?!
You may want to grab a few pillows and a blanket to get extra comfy.
